‘HIGHLAND HEAT’

It might still be Spring but the Rape and Abuse Line are bringing some heat to the Highlands by holding another Latin evening at the National Hotel, Dingwall on Saturday 16th April.

Live Latin and Salsa music will be provided by the Highand’s top Latin Big Band, ‘Orquesta Latina del Norte’ and the leading northern Latin dance school, ‘Salsa North’, will be on hand to provide some pre dance instruction and lead the dancing throughout the evening.

Traditional Scottish music and dancing will take place in the band’s break during the evening with a ceilidh atmosphere to add to the Salsa party feel of the evening.

The evening begins at 7pm with an hour’s Latin dance instruction from Salsa North and tickets for the pre dance instruction, including the dance will be £10.

The dance itself begins at 8pm and tickets for the dance only will be £5. Both are available from RAL, PO Box 10, Dingwall, Ross-shire IV15 9HA or from Jermaine McCracken at Salsa North dance classes. ( www.salsanorth.co.uk )

Latin and Salsa dancing is becoming increasingly popular in the Highlands and Orquesta Latina del Norte and Salsa North are leading the way with this up beat and evocative music. In doing this they are also supporting the efforts of Rape and Abuse Line to raise funds.

Come along and feel the heat of the Salsa dance and music at RAL’s ‘Highland Heat’ dance. All profits will go to the charity and it will be a great opportunity to increase your dancing skills and have a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
