Can you help us?
Speeltuin Utrecht . Russian Visas - Москва. . buy non prescription drugs online . filling station equipments

How could you help us in the important work that we do?
Well there may be a number of possibilities.

If you are interested in becoming a Support Worker:
RAL aims to hold 2 recruitment drives each year.  After initial interviews, successful recruits are expected to attend RAL’s residential Initial Training.  This takes place over 3 weekends and accommodation and travel expenses are met by RAL.  The training is based around the Person-centred Approach to counselling.  Recruits are trained in person-centred theory and listening skills.

On going training requires a commitment from volunteers.  RAL expects Support Workers to keep up to date with current issues and also re-visit counselling skills, this training takes place every second month, with the month in between focussing on group supervision.  RAL feels that these monthly events allow the volunteers to maintain regular contact with each other as well as updating their skills.

If you are interested in volunteering in a different capacity:
RAL does not want to limit the opportunity for people to offer their support to our organisation.  RAL also accepts that Support Work is not always appropriate for all people.  In this sense RAL would like to offer opportunities for people to volunteer other skills.  If you have some skill that you think could be of benefit to RAL then please contact us to let us know.  It could be business skill, technical skills or fundraising skills.
For further information please go to our “contact us” page.

If you are a business:
RAL appreciates all the support it currently receives.  Raising awareness of the issues we deal with has led many people to realize just how wide spread the problem of rape and abuse is.  Current statistics show that as many as 1 in 4 women and 1 in 3 men are likely to encounter some form of abuse in their life time.  This is a huge percentage of the population when looked at in this context.  Most people know someone who has been affected in some way by these issues, and some people would like to do something to help even if they would not be willing to do the actual support work.  There are many other ways that people can contribute.  RAL is always grateful for business expertise, fundraising capabilities as well as marketing skills.  There are many businesses who work with similar technology to our own, so surplus materials or up-graded equipment is always welcome.  We furnished our new offices with desks that were donated by Visit Scotland!  So there are many ways that businesses can help RAL even simply donating expertise or have us as your Nominated Charity!  HighNET and CompNEO are two businesses that RAL currently work with.
